Synopsis »

"The Fallen" is the three-sided story about German, Italian and American soldiers set in Northern Italy during the final weeks of World War II. Shot in three languages on location in the United States and Italy with a cast of World War II "re-enactors," the film follows a group of American supply soldiers on a mission to the front line; a doomed German unit struggling to maintain morale and discipline in the face of certain defeat; and the divided Italians, fascists and communist partisans who have turned brother against brother in a bloody civil war.
